Review on ๐Ÿ”’ Enhance Efficiency with Milwaukee 48-21-2004 One-Key Tick Tool and Equipment Tracker (4 pack) by Steven Harmon

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The OneKey software needs to be revised and is not ready for commercial use.

Received an order today and tried it. If Milwaukee improves the software, that could be great. There is no software for use by multiple users yet. For a very small multi-site contractor, this might be fine. Pros: I liked the idea and the one-time payment. Estimated battery life is 1 year. The last location is pretty accurate, within 100 feet. Notification missing. I tried to mark one as "Missing". I knew it was within reach of whoever was running the app. A few minutes later a letter arrived saying it had been found. It contained a link to an item in the web app's inventory. Cons: The user interface is not intuitive. Tool history shows incorrect timestamps. Cannot get tool location log report. The report provided only shows when the tick was seen and the "assigned" location, not the actual location of the ping. Tick/instrument exchange accounts cannot be linked. A NOTICE. If the device is subjected to a sudden shock or jolt, it may need to be paired again. "Improvements that would be nice to see.1. Share ticks/tools with workers/employees who also have the app.2. View actual ping location in history.3 tool. Combine #1 and #2 to show whose phone the tool/tick is pinging. 4. Have a wireless device that can be left on at all times and stay close to the tool storage area.5. Send SMS or email alerts when the tool moves more than x.6. Get a report showing which tools have moved more than x distances in the last y times. An example of which instruments have moved more than 1000 feet in the last day.7. Have a REST API for integration with other systems.
