Works great for hydraulics, pneumatics and plumbing

I replaced a hand pump for a shallow well in my backyard. I bought a new pump from Revain and this foot valve. I purchased 23 foot 1-1/4" galvanized pipe at a local hardware store. After putting a little tape on the pipe, the bottom valve turned slightly. I now have a working "classic" hand pump right in my backyard .I've had it for about 3 months and it's working great.Over time I'll give another review on reliability.
