I had an issue on my 2003 S10 where I had to turn the start switch a couple of times to pressurize the fuel lines before starting. After reading several posts related to this issue, I saw that someone had fixed this issue in this part. A check valve was defective in the fuel pump, that fixed it. As said in another post you need to make sure your car has a pressure regulator somewhere behind the fitting location or you could blow the gaskets out of your injectors. The easiest way is to place it after the fuel filter. One thing that might help is if the kit includes the quick connector that fits into the fuel filter. Otherwise you'll have to figure out how to connect.
