Review on 🚲 Arkon Bike/Motorcycle Handlebar Mount for Garmin nuvi 40 50 200 2013 24x5 25x5 GPS | Easy Installation | Standard Packaging by Brad Dotson

I bought this to mount a Garmin to my Yamaha Royal Star (1" handlebar) and was very surprised that the spacers that came with it still had to be used to make it fit (1 inch is the thickest stem you'll find on most bikes). But it sits well on the handlebars, doesn't tend to change position at all and the ball fits exactly into the Garmin socket; The mount keeps the Garmin close to the handlebars and mostly secure. The problem is that it's also well outside of my usual "travelling" field of view - not such a big deal on stretches of freeway with little traffic away from populated areas, but a significant one in city and suburban traffic where a 1-second view The low screen on the steering wheel makes a sudden change of speed or lane caused by closely packed cars a real threat to life and health. However, it will come in handy for most of my trips; When traffic picks up, I move the Garmin to the "old" mount three inches above the speedometer.
