Review on SVANTTO Portable Brightness Extender Computer 15.6" - Enhance Visuals Anywhere with 1920X1080P, 60Hz Display: IPM01, LED by Jordan Singletary

I have several portable monitors from other manufacturers and the 15.6 inch SVANTTO 1080p monitor is by far the best I've used. If you bought a new tablet or a good cell phone, the only remarkable thing is that the box is completely empty, even without a logo, inside you get a monitor, a magnetic case/stand, a plastic protective film and various cables including a USB power adapter SVANTTO worked out of the box with my MacBook Pro 2018. I have no way of measuring the brightness of the screen, but at full brightness it's only slightly dimmer than my Mac's screen. I use it for web surfing and software development. The contrast is really good and the text is very clean and legible. So far I am very pleased with the picture quality. On the left are two USB-C ports and three buttons. e panel. The top button is the shortcut for adjusting the volume and the bottom button is the shortcut for the screen brightness. The middle button opens the full monitor menu for everything. Settings are fairly standard, allowing you to adjust color temperature, brightness, contrast, sharpness, OSD transparency, and so on. Nothing really remarkable here. The lid/stand is really well designed so the monitor can be used in both landscape and portrait modes. The stand folds under the screen with notches, allowing you to adjust the angle a bit. This is a huge improvement over stand-style covers that tend to slide out when you're on a slick desktop. The only minor complaint I have is that the protective plastic film covering the screen left a small mark on the top. bezel when I took it off. Luckily the residue was easy to wipe off and was only on the bezel and not the screen itself. Overall I'm very happy with this monitor. It's bright, high-contrast, portable, and goes well with your MacBook.
