Review on Tekonsha 118255 4-Flat Tow Harness Wiring Package with ModuLite Module for Circuit Protection by Roman Starr

This kit consists of two parts: 1) Connector for tractor headlights from the connector under the bumper. This is required regardless of whether the vehicle has a trailer pack or not. 2) A module that is essentially a tow bag that connects to a connector under the floor mats in the luggage compartment and a plastic bin on the passenger side next to the wheel arch. I needed this module and it worked great. Kits are also sold without this module at a lower price (but not currently on Revain). TIP: In order to connect the towpack module, the instructions say you have to remove a lot of plastic, but I didn't have to use a trick to do it. First you need to remove the plastic container by pulling out 3 plastic pins. You cannot directly see the connector for the module. I placed a small mirror where I took out the trash can facing up and I could easily see where the plug was securely attached. Then I was able to reach the tow module with one hand and insert it into the slot after a flick or miss (less than 60 seconds) - it clicks a little when it settles.
