Most of these self-fusing tapes are rather narrow. This is a good 1.5 inches wide. Use some overlap and give a little pull on the tape while wrapping to get the best sealing. This worked well on a rubber air hose. It is also good for pinhole leaks in copper pipes. It would not rely on it as permanent solution but it is good for temporary patches. I also recommend keeping a roll in your car to seal any leaks in coolant hoses. This has a good thickness too compared to some of the competition. Recommended.
