I've used this for a couple of heating seasons and the results are amazing! At the beginning of this season I just had our chimney cleaned by a chimney sweep. We told him we hadn't cleaned it for the last 2 burn seasons and he said we should be ok with the amount of accumulation for another 2 years. I burn wood and charcoal in a home stove. I also use Rutland Creosote Remover. Every year I shovel a pile of ash off the bottom of the chimney, so it definitely works.
