* 2021 update * 1 star Do not move the camera or let the camera move after everything is clamped and tightened. The part of the mount that the camera attaches to is a round ball inside the cage. There are cleats in the cage that are supposed to stick to the ball, but they wear out very quickly. Now, even when I tighten everything to the max, the camera still rotates and moves with small G-forces on it, and large G-forces take the camera completely out of frame. I saw it first and thought it would be great. It works with standard cameras and comes with a Go Pro adapter, so compatibility isn't a huge issue. When I received it it was a lot smaller than I expected so be sure to check those measurements! Because of this, you don't have much flexibility to get a good shot. It would be nice if it was a few inches longer. The main reason I wanted this mount was to use it from the outside. The first time I used it outside of the mount and after a few minutes the camera fell off. Luckily for me, I thought about it and mounted the camera inside the car. I installed it back outside and drove about 5 minutes with no problems. Feels good, build quality is average, don't expect it to last very long.
