We bought her to hide the view of the road from the dogs, she loves to bark at any human or dog that comes by. We followed the instructions and installed it pretty easily. I didn't measure the full 1 inch from the window dimensions, I made it narrower to cut the window less. The seam was easy to hide, I had to join it in 2 parts to match the length of the window. I think the result looks great and gives a good view through the front door windows. As can be seen in the photos, the view is not completely blocked. I have quite a lot of material left, will look for another room/window to compensate the material.
