I bought this detector to replace my old instrument that was starting to fail. Now, less than a year after purchase and installation, this new unit is beeping and flashing red and green - a malfunction according to the description. It is necessary to turn off the block so that we can sleep and finish our hike. Now I'm having trouble contacting MTI Industries. I used "Contact Us" on their website, emailed twice and called customer service during business hours but got no response and left a message. I have received absolutely no response from MTI Industries.
