This set is ok except for the o-ring. I removed the pulley from a mid 70's GM power steering pump. There was no corrosion on the pump or anything that would indicate the pulley would be difficult to remove. The weak part of the kit I received was the locking ring around the two halves of the puller. As I tightened the puller, the locking ring stretched, allowing the two halves of the puller to slide off the pulley. I was able to use a C clip to help the ring hold the two halves together. Next time I'll probably have to make a retaining ring out of a pipe or tube. The rest of the set worked fine, the threads worked fine, etc.
