It really works. Attaching the mount to the vent was easy and the mount is secure. The clasp doesn't wobble and my phone stays in place. I have an iPhone Xs with a thin silicone case, if that helps anyone. First I put the magnetic part between the case and the phone. It worked, but I noticed magnetic round slides around my case (when not using the mount). So I taped it to the inside of my suitcase. I didn't want the magnetic circle to be visible on the outside of the case, and I definitely didn't want to stick it to my phone.
