The containers smelled funny when I first got them, which doesn't really matter. I love how practical these containers are and how they stack on top of each other. The reason I'm giving a low rating is because they are NOT microwaveable! I was reheating food in one of the containers and when I went to wash the container, it turned out that the food was stuck to the walls. When I looked closely, I found that the plastic inside the container had MELted! Unfortunately, the container had to be disposed of. According to the description, they are microwave safe! This is fine if you're using them to store food, but be careful when microwaving them.
