Definitely worth your money!

Love it! They are the perfect size and can be placed in the freezer; This is convenient because I prepare my breakfast in advance since I don't have time in the morning. I've never had a single leak; and I shook the shit out of them with soup. I've never had a break and have dropped it many times as I'm a known chub. All round a great product and I'm very glad I got so much at a great price!

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Nothing here

So you can use them for soup and the like. However

I use them for cooking and portion control. They don't leak when sealed properly, so you can use them for soup and the like. However, check when you unscrew the cap. You can unscrew the lids incorrectly and leak the bag. I also recommend NOT using them in the microwave. According to the manufacturer, they are safe to use in the microwave, but trust me. It is better to put food on a plate and put it in the microwave from there.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Interchangeability

Defrosted a little in the microwave.

The containers smelled funny when I first got them, which doesn't really matter. I love how practical these containers are and how they stack on top of each other. The reason I'm giving a low rating is because they are NOT microwaveable! I was reheating food in one of the containers and when I went to wash the container, it turned out that the food was stuck to the walls. When I looked closely, I found that the plastic inside the container had MELted! Unfortunately, the container had to be…

If I only had one storage container in my kitchen, this would be my pick:

These are longtime winners in the kitchen. Awesome workhorses that stand up to the freezer, microwave and dishwasher and are cheap enough to send your friends home with leftovers without having to worry about returning your 'good' storage containers. One of my favorite features is the secure and tight seal provided by the screw cap - this definitely puts my mind at ease when packing liquids for lunch etc. (PS - I've had to buy more in the past as my husband tends to steal them for driving…

  • Easy to install

We use them for everything. Freezer, fridge, microwave.

The only downside to these containers is that pitting can occur if you microwave them with highly acidic or fatty foods. Tomato sauce and the like can stain them, but that goes for all of these products. I have found that I can thaw one of these with homemade soup or similar, enough to be able to pour the frozen soup into a ceramic bowl or mug to finish heating. This allows for easy storage but avoids pitting. We use them for chopped onions, olives, peanut butter and jelly, literally anything…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No effect

Not compatible with freezer?

Ordered to store homemade vegetable broth after trying a grocery store-bought pack. The pint seemed the right size for a fresh broth or freezer to take away for next use. I allowed room for the liquid to expand as it froze and had no problems with spills. But the units I put in the bottom of my freezer had cracked lids. I think I lost three lids from about a dozen units in the freezer - all from the bottom tier. I think it was too cold, too much pressure. Besides that. They are alright. As I…

smells like perfume

I bought them for my husband for lunch but when they arrived he said they smelled disgustingly like perfume and he wouldn't eat any of them. I was hoping they would "air out" but they still stink. I'll try washing them in a special soap to remove the smell, but plastic absorbs smells. Revain really needs to separate food grade plastic from artificially flavored products like laundry soaps, air fresheners, etc. The actual product is good, we have used them before. Just don't buy from Revain if…

Great storage solution; reasonable price

Perfect size for storing/freezing individual portions of soup/stew/chili/etc. My daughter went back to college. I avoided cooking some of my favorite foods because they overcook too many portions and I didn't want to eat the same thing every day for a week. I didn't have the right size/type of single serving freezer containers. These Ziploc Twist 'n Loc 2 cup containers are perfect for my needs! For freezing, they hold about 1.5 cups. I've used them for soups, stews, chili peppers, and pulled…
