Bought this for a kitten who is being driven in my car on a 12 hour trip. It's fairly roomy, with room for a small liter box and cups of food and water. However, it is quite soft and flexible and may not hold up if passengers intend to escape. My 14 year old cat immediately unzipped the front and climbed out. I found that the ends of the zipper just ride up and open with some pressure, so I tied them together. I placed the carrier on a blanket in the back seat of my old Honda Accord and it fit perfectly without blocking the view out the rear window. But now I think it would be better to put it on a hard surface like a plank to make the cat feel a bit more stable and want to stand and walk. Mine just curled up and slept most of the time, never using the box, not even eating or drinking. Be sure to measure your space because this carrier is huge! Other than that I have no complaints or issues as it worked very well for my purposes.
