This kit is great if you want to take _an_ item with you as it only comes with 4 rubber spacers. This is probably the vast majority of use cases, but if you have a couple of side tables you'll have to improvise. The individual blocks are similar to Lego in that they are mostly hollow, but have internal walls and cylinders in strategic places. They look strong and adequate, but only if there are static loads on the furniture. If the furniture is subject to sudden load changes or force vectors, I'd rather have something solid. Unlike Lego bricks, they are not inherently interlocked. As another reviewer mentioned, they can shift. In my case, it was when I was leaning back in my chair (https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B081WXXHCD) with the footrest extended, which made my back legs go up. One of the legs was raised temporarily (probably leftovers stuck to the leg due to my less than stellar housekeeping), a block two blocks under each leg of the chair. The block fell while the back of the chair was still in the air, but didn't land directly on the block below. Luckily I heard the noise and didn't lean back in my chair. Summary: - You have four pads so you can lift _a_ piece of furniture - You have eight blocks so you can lift each foot 2 inches - Don't do it though. Do not move or lift furniture on these blocks. Especially don't do this if you're using two blocks under each foot.
