
I've been stuck at 1080p for so long I've forgotten how good high resolution can look. With HDMI I was only able to get a resolution of 1980x1200, but I don't know if that was a limitation of my DisplayPort to HDMI cable or not. But I have a DP-DP cable and was able to get the full 2560x1400 resolution, which is great. (Actually, this is my first monitor with a DP connector). I've never thought much about framerate, so I didn't notice any difference in that regard. The stand struck me as odd at first as I'm used to stands sticking out of the monitor for support. This one was more side to side; so I got a little confused before it made sense. Now I really like it because it minimizes the depth behind the monitor. So the stand is a plus too. I am very happy with this monitor. I can't recommend it highly enough.
