While working from home I have tripped the fire alarm several times. After boiling the water, I go to my office and work, but I forget that the water is boiling. I bought this timer to keep on my desk so I know when to come back and check what I'm heating up. It worked the first time or two, but has stopped working in the past few weeks that I've had it. I can turn the dial to get the time right, but once the timer hits zero it doesn't ring most of the time. :( It's extremely unreliable at the moment and I'm not comfortable with it anymore. I gave 2 stars because it looks nice on my desk and the numbers are easy to read, otherwise it probably would have been 1 star if it wasn't for that .
