I have no idea if the cleaner worked well because I couldn't get rid of the horribly strong chemical smell. I figured it just needed airing for a few days. So I did that and ran it through my soapy shower a few times, it was still bad. I then tried soaking it in good old Dawn dish soap overnight. Without change. Like even my fingers smell like chemicals after touching it. I went to the store and came home and my whole apartment was just covered in chemicals. And I'm not one of those people who are usually sensitive to smells! Finally, I tried soaking it in bleach overnight. This removed maybe 10% of the chemical smell, but added a bleach smell to the mix. In the end after trying to get rid of that horrible smell for over a week I just had to throw it away. I have no idea what the heck that thing is made of, but it should be dumped in a toxic landfill or something!
