Love this thing! Two probes, no waiting! Large backlit numbers help visually impaired people. I probably should have washed it before using it to take the temperature. Orally of course. This probe is accurate! 97.6°F. You can calibrate the temperature, but only by 1 degree. Why bother? You can also test other things. I made sure my fridge is set to 40° (39.6°). It doesn't take up space in a drawer because it's magnetic! I put it and the probe in a ziplock bag and attached it to the fridge. It even came with a spare battery! Yes, and it doesn't speak, but you can set an alarm when your desired temperature is reached.
