I usually use plastic bottle caps on soda cans. The problem with them is that half the packaging is slightly warped from the packaging so they don't work. Decided to try them out for a soul purpose to keep the creepy crawling out of my orange soda/rock star recovery habit. I once had a BAD experience where I left a glass unattended in my car for an extended period of time and I can safely say never again. Those little things really help open the lid, especially if you're cutting your nails or have arthritis in your fingers. They also do a very good job of protecting the opening of the glass from objects getting in when it's closed. The only downside is that if you drink from the can while the device is on the ledge, it's a bit thick, so your nose taps on it occasionally. Not a deal breaker but definitely something to address if they ever update the design. But worth it, will buy again (I've given them away to family members so I'm already running out)
