The leak was enough to drain my tank for about 5-7 hours leading me to the conclusion that there was no way it could be a check valve, and especially not a new check valve, so I spent a lot of time looking. a leak. As a result, the only thing left is the check valve where the leak could be coming from. I replaced it with an SMC check valve and everything is back to normal and working properly. Unfortunately I threw this valve away in a fit of frustration so I cannot return it for a refund.
