The little guide makes it easier to align properly, which to be honest is the most annoying part of applying the screen protector for me. At first the edges didn't seem to stick well, but I had this problem with some earlier vinyl protectors and they just needed some extra edge smoothing. I tried this protector and it seemed to work as the edges finally stuck together. I'll keep an eye out for ups and downs or bubbles, but so far it's PERFECT. I have a cheap, low profile TPU case on my phone and my attempt at using a vinyl protector on this phone was a major setback as the edges struggled with the case and ended up horribly. This protector is slightly smaller than the body, so no problem. No issues with the fingerprint scanner, no distortion. So far, I am very satisfied!
