I am a plumber. I use this level a lot and I like it. Why: This plane is designed for inclined objects with a slope of 1-2% (1/8" - 1/4"). If I really want to set the incline as precisely as possible, this level does it very well. Especially if you're trying to create a precise 1/8 per inch slope on a 3-4 inch drain pipe. I mostly use it wherever a section is long enough to fit. To put it simply, it's much easier to get a very accurate tilt with this level due to the special bubbles. Whether you're installing a sloped drain pipe for a living or you have a big home improvement project, this level can help make what you're doing much faster and easier. It seems very accurate when I compare and test it with other levels I have. If they made a smaller version I would have no hesitation in buying it, but 24 inches is a very useful size. If I hadn't recently bought a 4 foot level with proper grade markings I would have bought a 4 foot level too. I prefer this anywhere that isn't too long to match the length of pipe I'm installing.
