I chose this option because I didn't need the dangling AirTag holder, just because I felt it would protect more if it was in a more secure position. My dog is a bit wild so I was a bit apprehensive when I bought the AirTag. This one with the more closed front feels really secure like it can't pop out somehow and it keeps it snug enough on the collar that I'm not worried about her messing around with it, although she LOVES examining her collars and Harness as soon as she can get to them. I recommend putting it on the collar where it overlaps, like in the photo, because it absolutely won't move from that spot when it's on the thicker, two-ply part of the collar. Looks very cute!
