Review on ๐Ÿ”ฆ Extech EX330 Mini Multimeter: NCV, Type K Temperature | Orange & Green by Mido Taylor

Great little multimeter for home and digital electronics hobbyists.

Great little home and hobby multimeter that works with digital electronics. This multimeter is a big step up from cheap auto parts testers, but much cheaper than the comparable Fluke. I personally prefer the Fluke, but can't justify paying 2 or 3 times the money for what I need it for. Speaking of which, I've used it for home wiring projects, electronics repairs, battery testing, temperature measurements, and resistance/capacitance testing. All readings were within expected ranges, however I do not have the more precise reference equipment needed to check the ranges/tolerances. That's certainly accurate enough for my purposes. Pros: - Price - Replacement cords are pretty good and 4ft long, plus a temp sensor was included - Auto ranging works very well - Lots of useful features (well described in the product description) including auto shut off - The stand is very handy for the test bench. Cons: - Actually none, she does exactly what I expected her to do. Features like reading True RMS would be nice, but it's hard to expect such features for the price of this multimeter. I recommend purchasing the Extech TL809 Lead Kit for alligator clips only. When you're at the top of the stairs, cutting one or both wires could save your life!
