Review on πŸ”§ Tile Leveling System Clips - 400 Pieces of Clips (1/32 inch or 1mm) by Randy Jagers

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not bad at all, I bought from expensive to cheap

Not a pro just a lot of DIY tile projects. Lev-tec is my favorite in this style but $ but they never break when I use tool, I broke maybe 2 out of hundreds and hundreds, bottoms are flimsy. I have tried thousands of this brand. They break very cleanly (better than Levtec), any piece that is left is easy to pick up and pull out. in the case of an uneven position with large-format tiles or floorboards. Just have a few types of pins with you so you can tuck them in if you catch one. They are great for hand tightening, just did a 12x24 large format tile shower and didn't snap any by hand, but since everything was right I didn't need much leveling. The bottom is thicker, I've only found it a problem when I stop for one day and don't adjust my clips for the next (I'm not a pro, I just do a lot of mosaic projects). With thin clips like Lev-Tec you can use multiple slots and insert them fairly easily. These are thicker, you should get a nice piece of thin set, but one trick. Use metal scissors, sand a little, then cut some and glue under. I prefer Lev-Tec wedges, but I've used these and these too when making a plank floor. I would probably pick my favorite when doing a shower and these are for a large area due to the cost but then again I keep ordering them. The trick for this stuff is: sand your area, scrape out 1" something like that, oil back if you like, place spacers, lay tile. Now clean your grout, you shouldn't have any extrusion Where your clamps are, if you st scrub your area (I use a small stick or pointed spatula, which I also use to keep the dirt bucket clean.) Then just brush with a toothbrush and towel dry You oil your tile, trim the edges and there (I just rub the area briefly while I clean the edges of the tile) BUT the mess the next day around the extrusion clip (wish you could use them with a toothbrush etc.). , they will extrude into the clips) But if you make a blade for a stone masonry with a fine 1/16 notch on an angle grinder + shop vacuum hose and a steady hand, the nylon brush on the drill it cleans you without damaging the tile (but check first. But don't try to do this as in You'll be there all day unless you follow my instructions above the first time.
