Review on GM Full Size/Classic Stake Pocket Covers - 1704212 - 4 pack: Ultimate Protection and Style! by Ricky Mayo

I had read some other reviews about the protrusions breaking off of these caps so I was a bit wary. I ordered anyway as the Truxedo name is generally trustworthy. When the package arrived, I opened it up and put individual lids on the cable TV box to keep it warm for a couple of hours. I have a Line-X overhead job on my truck and the lining material is sprayed around the inside of the bags. Despite this, the cases slip on instantly without drama, fit perfectly and look great. I've been driving to and from work and they're still around so I doubt they'll be leaving any time soon. I haven't tried removing them to access the pocket, but I think a spatula or silicone tool will lift them straight up if needed. To tell the truth, in over ten years of owning a pickup truck I have never used stake bags. These covers are the finishing touch that was forgotten at the factory.
