I've been cooking with a Kettle Grill for over 20 years and Vortex has improved the ease of use ridiculously. I bought it to make wings after watching a few videos on YouTube and now I use it for everything. I like to add a small piece of smoking wood to my charcoal briquettes, let it heat until the top layer of charcoal is covered with ash, and then start smoking. Once I'm within a few degrees of the final temperature of a meat I'm cooking, I vortex each cut directly over the vortex for 20-30 seconds per side to cook it to perfection. By keeping all the heat inside the cone, the usable area for grilling is significantly increased and the entire surface is evenly heated without charring. Buy a brand and support innovators.
