Review on πŸ”Œ TECKNET Aluminum 3-Port USB 3.0 Hub: RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter for Ultrabooks, Notebooks, Tablets, and More by Ivan Brown

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Small size and work

I had to buy one of these things because I was fed up with my work tablet that was always "giving out" the internet when I connected to wifi. Setup was very easy, I plugged in the ethernet cable from the router to the end and then plugged in the USB dongle to the tablet. Voila, stable wired internet! I get pretty decent speeds on internet speed tests (I think the hardware on my tablet is pretty old too so I'm not expecting the 1Gbps I usually get with my normal setup) 130Mbps and 260Mbps s. high. For what it's worth, I only use the tablet for work purposes, so it won't be used for gaming or anything overly graphically intensive. The USB ports have been working fine so far, I've only plugged in a wireless keyboard dongle and flash drive to transfer files and the speeds have ranged from 6-7MB/s for an 800MB file to around 1 good idea to give the transmission speed. also quite small, the key itself is about 4.5 inches and the wired part is about twice that size.

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Unusable features
