Review on 2 5 Gallon Aluminum Street Racing Sender by Kenny Kowalewski

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not as stated: Fuel system

It contains fuel. That's probably the best part. The description says it has a 2" sump. It isn't. It has the dead center of the tank pipe about two inches off the ground. There are no barriers. There is no camber. No anti-fog foam. Just a pipe in a metal box which draws air from somewhere below 1/3 of the tank. The return "line" is simply a stub welded to the top of the tank that sprays the fuel over the entire surface and also aerates it. I only recommend it as a transfer tank. Not for hot rods with a fuel tank. I was going to use it on a diesel, which I can't do because there's a good chance it will catch air and stall the truck.
