I only got into knitting a month ago because I wanted to make scarves and hats as Christmas gifts for family members. A few years ago a friend tried unsuccessfully to teach me to knit with metal needles. I kept dropping the stitches and not getting in the knitting groove. Luckily, Klee bamboo needles came to the rescue! I was knitting and knitting within minutes after watching some YouTube videos. I have used several sizes of Clover stockinette and circular needles and have enjoyed using them all. But I bought this pair specifically to knit a hat using the Magic Loop method. Despite the fact that I ended up with a "ladder" in my work, the hat still came out very well. My friend liked it. I'm going to try on a pair of mittens. I deducted a star because the connection of these spokes is rough. I'm a bit of a tight knitter and find it difficult to put on stitches where cord and needles meet. I really have to pull up sometimes. Otherwise I would give the needles 5 stars.
