Review on πŸš— Protect Your Hatchback with Duck Covers Weather Defender - Up to 15' 2 by Jason Sergeantson

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I think it fits well πŸ˜’

Edited: I downgraded the rating. Coating: 1) Does not let air through - retains water. So when it rains, the car underneath stays wet, then dust collects underneath and the car gets dirty over time. 2) Cheap material - thins over time, cracks easily and brittle shell. Mine started falling apart. These two disadvantages are crucial and if this coating is not used indoors, e.g. in a garage, the coating will not last long and will not do a decent job. The coating can last a year at best, but water is a problem; be careful. Original: The fit is okay but not great or tight so I'm saying 3.6 stars. After all, this is a universal cover. The size "183" long x 59" wide x 51" high was recommended for my 2004 VW Golf: R32. As you can see there is a bit of slack/excess material on the front and back. Not perfect, but not the end of the world either. It also has a "Duck Cover" logo on the center back. It doesn't show up in any of the photos here and I find it a bit disturbing; not super cool. I like the high elastic bottom hem. πŸ‘ I'm skeptical about weather resistance and breathability so that moisture can escape, so I'll get back to you. Edit 2: Completely resolved. Short term fix, scrap for me as I'm looking for something that is durable and doesn't make the car dirtier underneath - no fun surprise when it was removed btw/imo. I will definitely not be buying this product again lol
