Review on Norpro Silicone Flexible Measuring Stir πŸ₯„ and Pour, 1-Cup: Versatile and Convenient Kitchen Tool by Samantha Adams

1 cup no. = 250 ml

I bought this item and 2 cup size thanks to eliner's amazing pictures. These cups are more suitable for metric measurements. My conversion chart shows that 1 cup = 237ml. For Norpro mugs 1 cup = 250ml. This is why several people have mentioned how inaccurate mugs are. If you use the metric system then these mugs are for you. I also have the iSi 1-Cup silicone measuring cup. iSi Basics 1-Cup Flex-it mug I compared the Norpro 1-Cup mug with iSi and recommended the iSi brand. Another thing I love about the iSi brand is that they also have 1/3 and 2/3 markings on the cup, which Norpro doesn't have. iSi has a rounder shape while Norpro has a flatter shape. I bought them to melt chocolate for dipping cake pops and also for measuring items on a regular basis. Both brands will work for this and pour ingredients into the blender with ease. I'm sending this mug back and if I want a second one I'll get a different iSi. (By the way, I found 1 mug at Bed Bath & Beyond for $5.99.)

Pros
  • Made of silicone; heat resistant up to 465F/240C.
