Edit - Ad removed. Now it works. It does not work.
Didn't work at all. The instructions are incomprehensible. I didn't see anything on the screen either. I removed the display and the board came up. Tested display with measuring device. The meter showed a short between 5V and ground. When turning off the display. I was thinking of updating the display anyway.
