Simple, fast, fun and versatile!

I ordered a black Hatrigo Racer. It looks beautiful and shiny. I like that it is made of stainless steel and silicone. It has a good weight and is quite easy to handle. Helpfully, it can rest over a pot or bowl. It comes with three different slices so it's fun trying out which one I prefer for my dish. The first thing I cooked with the Hatrigo was spaetzle. I've never made spaetzle before, but it turned out so great! I didn't have to squeeze the handles as hard as the smooth dough went through the holes quickly. I used a disc with small holes and a disc with large holes. I didn't notice much of a difference, but I think I prefer the one with the larger holes for this recipe. I'll try the spaetzle slice when I make it again. This is definitely my go-to when I want to make homemade pasta in no time! Next I made rice potatoes with spaetzle slices. I've never cooked rice potatoes, but I heard they're very fluffy, so I wanted to try it. Wow! It was like eating a cloud! I couldn't believe the amazing texture and difference from mashed potatoes. Preparing this dish had me squeezing the handles, but it didn't look like tension. After the handle was squeezed and lifted again, the potato skin lay on top of the disc and didn't go through the holes at all. It was even faster than mashed potatoes and I didn't even have to peel it! Two tips I would like to share. 1. After using a rice cooker (especially something like spaetzle dough), soak it in hot water first for easy cleaning. After cleaning and blotting, open the rice cooker and set it on a flat surface to allow any crevices to dry. 2. Squeezing the handle and lifting it back up can cause the disc to stick to the top of the rice cooker, so make sure to put it back before adding food. But don't worry, attaching the disc to the bottom of the riser is easy. I am very happy with this product and can't wait to use it for all kinds of recipes (I'm thinking marinara next)! Bonus: kids want to try it. :)
