I use my eTrex 30 on a pontoon boat here in Florida when I hike around Tsala Apoca Lake and I'm tired of not having a fixed location or location for GPS Navigator. I knew I needed some kind of holder, but didn't want a rattle, windshield mount, or similar mount. I noticed this when researching Revain, but it didn't mention the latest eTrex 30 and it seems to have been for the Colorado series. After reviewing the Garmin website, they clearly stated that this unit fits many of their handheld devices, including most eTrex units. I totally agree with Garmin as this mount is great. It's durable and the GPS is locked until you push the lever to unlock it. There are multiple angle and swivel settings that can be locked in place by tightening the hand screws. I attached it to the fiberglass dash with 20lb double sided 3M tape and trust me it will stay on the dash forever. I like this holder. It's small, durable, customizable, and the USB port is still available after installation. All in all I'm satisfied and I think I got good value for money. It costs less than $20 and works better than I expected!
