I have a Bontrager Specter WaveCel road helmet. It's a good helmet, but it looks a bit silly, and isn't looking cool the most important thing? I do not think so. because this helmet looks a bit cooler but that's about all i can compare to what i have. I bought this KINGLEAD helmet because the taillight and goggles looked pretty cool and the design/shape of the helmet looks cooler than my Bontrager. There was no clear sizing on the product page. The Bontrager helmet comes in different sizes. The one I have is medium sized (54-60cm) and fits perfectly. The ratchet size adjustment also has a larger adjustment range (6cm versus 4cm for the king line). I guess I should have noted it better, but I was expecting the Kinglead helmet's adjustment range to be greater given the lack of actual sizing options available. On the product page the actual helmet size label says 57-61cm versus 60-64cm. It finally arrived yesterday and is definitely too big. It's portable, but it definitely has some play in it. It's not a snug/secure fit. The padding is a bit lacking compared to my other helmet. More than anything almost just show. The chin strap is quite adjustable and I can reduce some of the slack that the ratchet system lacks. The backlight is a cool feature, although I rarely drive after the sun goes down. The goggles look cool and seem to be easy to switch from top to bottom. In the aerodynamic position when cycling, the goggles/guards don't have anything (like a soft rubber sunglass pad) around the nose, so after a while I could see this thing rubbing/cutting into the bridge of my nose. If you look at the product image you can see a small piece of something on the mark on the nose, but it wasn't in what I received. Yes. I think I should have evaluated what I had and determined that given the difference in price it would have been a smaller product. I'll probably try to sell it locally before returning it. But I won't use it.
