I installed this kit on my 2016 Ram 1500 Ecodiesel 4x4 and after 10 hours of use it was completely installed to specification. Before I lowered it to the ground, I noticed that the CV dusters were on both the lower control arm and the strut fork. I contacted support and they told me to adapt to the new specs and that would fix the problem. Spent 110.00 on alignment and got home, raised the front end with the crossbar and found again that the CV anthers make contact with the sharp points on the LCA and the edge on the pillar when the suspension is closed at full sag . I emailed a link to a video of a ReadyLift and the same Hm"Head" tech replied that this interference is common when adding aftermarket components and this lift is not for off-road use is designed. Under normal driving conditions, the front wheels should not lift off the ground. It has also been determined that the only way to prevent this contact is to remove the lift and return it to its original position. I replied that they don't need to get off the ground, just get up and the camber position like you're stuck in the front wheel gets too low because it's digging a hole or just routine maintenance when they take the car and pick it up and spin it around. The axles of the CV boots noticeably shave the rubber when turning slowly. The technician got no answer. It's really a shame that so much work and time went into installing this kit to achieve such an end result. Yes, I like the way it looks, but ReadyLift should properly label this kit as street only. I would never have installed this if I had known beforehand that I couldn't drive my 4WD truck off-road or on bumpy dirt roads. If the suspension is in a position that can lower the control arms for even a second, the CV boots will be damaged and costly repairs will be required.
