The manufacturer claims it's "great for finer grinds (like Turkish or espresso") but mine got tired after a few months of use Espresso almost useless. The smaller particles seem to have gotten into the mesh and none of the cleaning methods I've used have done anything to remove them. It's a shame because it was great at the beginning but at that point it took pressure to push anything through. It's not safe. I contacted the manufacturer about this, but after a month of waiting I still didn't get a response. At least let me have my morning coffee. I'll just go back to the original paper filters because they were so much less of a hassle.
