Review on Anysun Underwater Fish Finder Professional by Kevin Webb

Revainrating 4 out of 5

No SD card slot/recording function. Make sure you choose the right model if you want to record/save videos.

Just received this unit. I tested it out of the box but haven't taken it to the lake yet. Like all the other reviews here, I can say that the picture quality is surprisingly good for composite video (i.e. not HD). Obviously this is just a video with no sound in case anyone is interested. I knew it before I bought the product. The lithium battery held a charge right out of the box, so I was able to test the device right away and make sure everything was working. The instruction manual is pretty basic, but you don't need it to figure out how to connect the cables (which are individually labeled). The only thing that amazed me were the small metal clips and round clasps that come with the device. I can't figure out what they are for and the instructions don't mention them at all. Also, the float that comes with the kit doesn't have a hole at the top of the "stem" where you need to attach the fishing line as instructed. However, there is a hole at the bottom of the float (which appears to be inverted). As a fisherman you can probably figure out how to attach a camera to a rod to get in the water from the boat, which my husband and I will do once we get a chance to try it out on the lake. . Will primarily use this in conjunction with the built in sonar/fish finder to confirm if there are indeed fish when the sonar pings. Lots of value compared to the $$$ you would spend on advanced sonar (HDI, Image Down, Side Scan, Panoptix etc) if you just want to confirm if there are fish in the spot you marked. All in all, it seems like a pretty decent device at a great price.
