Now that I've finished my journey, I want to give you an honest review of this product. I don't know if Revain will block this review because I can be very hot. Firstly, if you're worried about the build quality, I can tell you, DON'T WORRY! The thing is very well built! My international flight was 31 hours and had to transfer from 3 different airports, thing is holding up very well. I recommend! Second, the size. I fly United Airlines, I don't need to fold this carrier, just place it vertically under the seat, you're sacrificing your legroom, but for your pet, it's all worth it! Inside the backpack there is more than enough space for my 10kg girl! I recommend! Thirdly, comfort, here I categorically do NOT recommend this thing! Because of its thick, high quality materials, this thing blocks airflow, my whole flight, we're either business class or first class and my cat is sitting under the seat, she's screaming! not because it's uncomfortable, but simply because it's too hot! I have to keep running to the toilet to give her some air! I understand that this two layer design represents durability and like I said it shows that the durability is fantastic! BUT what if longevity is worth an animal's life?! A cat doesn't overheat as much as a dog, imagine having a cute puppy inside you? This design is very attractive to the human eye, but the manufacturer really needs to rethink airflow and then maybe add more windows! The side pockets are good enough for some small items, both pockets have quick-open inner pockets that take up little space. In conclusion, I think it is more important that the animal feels comfortable than that the owner feels privileged by purchasing this ridiculously expensive pet carrier. This is without a doubt a quality product! But what's the point of that price when your beloved pet can suffer inside for 14 hours? If SleepyPod ever comes up with a redesign I will 100% buy it! So please! Give it a redesign! For the welfare of the animals! Not for humans!
