This little yarn box is a work of art. Very well built and finished. The yarn runs smoothly through the slit. It's small, but I can put two 100 gram skeins in it at once with no problem. The size didn't surprise me as I read the specs before buying. I think you could hand roll a larger strand into a ball and it would fit in just fine. I'll try it out sometime and update this review. It makes me smile every time I use it, which has happened a lot lately. Added a third image showing the 3.5 ounce ball of yarn inside. Plenty of room for an even bigger ball.
