Tip: After attaching the tool to the freewheel, thread the collar nut onto the axle. continue until the flange touches the tool. This will hold the tool in place too securely so you can use an adjustable wrench to turn it counter-clockwise. Note: my photo doesn't show the flange nut because it was on a different bike.
