I've tried various "pads" to keep our coffee from spilling out of our mugs when we roll them into the living room or dining room, but none have worked as well as this one. They are made from a slightly flexible material so they fit snugly on the top of any cup and can be flipped over for cups with slightly larger or slightly smaller holes at the top. Depending on the hole diameter, they can be mounted either in the rim or on top of the rim. They also serve to keep the coffee hotter for longer until removed and they are easy to clean and won't leave coffee stains.
