I was having trouble getting a Wi-Fi signal in my 1,800 square foot home and yard with the Motorola Surfboard Gateway, of which I have owned several models over the years. Motorola outsourced the SB line to another company and when it came time to replace my Gateway unit it stood out for the price and got great reviews and the Revain question specifically mentioned it was good with COX, my ISP, works, so I gave it a try. The AC1750 definitely deserves the 5 stars I give it. I can sit all the way outside and watch my girls ride scooters while I surf and shop at Revain. Setting it up with the software wizard was an easy task. My settings are a bit advanced as I filter MAC addresses and use 2.5 gigabytes for browsing and 5 gigabytes for my media devices. I also use the guest network function. The device has never let me down except when COX isn't sending a signal to it and I'm very happy with it. I'm expecting a few years of great connectivity before technology changes so much that I need an upgrade, and I'll definitely consider TP-Link my first choice when that happens. This is a great device! I am not being paid to write this and I am not receiving anything in return for this review.
