Review on WYMECT Charger Socket Waterproof Outlet by Alex Gilbert

This is exactly what I was looking for. I had to replace a similar socket in a caravan with an integrated display. The problem is that the display is always on, which not only causes low battery drain, but also constantly emits a lot of light. These have no problem. Firstly they don't have a display and secondly the attached lid/cap perfectly covers any light coming out of the socket. Obviously they come with everything you need to hook them up and they can be plugged into a 12V or 24V source. I'm using a 12v battery and as you can see in my photo I'm getting 5.1v from the USB end. I'm not a big fan of glass fuses, but it's nice that they come with a fuse holder. In this way, the electronics connected to the sockets are protected against overload. The product is top notch and the fact that it is all inclusive makes me a happy backpacker.
