NOT waterproof or liquid resistant.
This switch should only be installed where it will not be exposed to liquid. It is absolutely NOT waterproof (although it can be waterproof on its own) and is not even afraid of water or splashes. If it is installed in a dry bridge or cabin, everything is fine, it seems a good product. Even in a dry location, spilled liquid (coffee or beer) will seep into the rocker switch area and into the housing or panel on which it is mounted.
