Review on ๐ŸŽฏ Efficient Control: Oregon 60-210 Throttle Control Cable Assembly for Optimal Performance by Andre Young

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fantastic results - great design.

Ugly, but it gets the job done. It's really well made and has some nice design features. Won't win any aesthetic awards, but in terms of functionality and (expected) durability I'm not sure you can beat that. What I really liked is the amount of control that you can customize to suit your application. The "trailer" (resistance) is adjustable, the length of the rope is adjustable, as is the total throw. Having a coiled metal sleeve was perfect for my application - the last one I bought, an Oregon 60-426 Throttle Control Universal 71-inch, looked a lot nicer, but because of the cheap way the cable was attached to the Arm was fixed, unusable plastic outer tube. This one will last forever I think and the other one costs 50% more.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Infinitely slow
